Salary & Benefits for DDA Young Professionals (Legal)

Successful candidates engaged as Young Professionals (Legal) in DDA will receive a fixed consolidated remuneration.

  • Consolidated Remuneration per month: Rs. 50,000/- 
  • Annual Enhancement: A 5% annual enhancement on the base rate (i.e., the proposed remuneration) will be applicable. This enhancement is subject to the recommendation of the concerned HODs based on the candidate’s performance. 
  • Maximum Remuneration Cap: In no case shall the remuneration of any individual Consultant exceed 1.25 times their initial remuneration. 

Period of Engagement:

  • The initial period of engagement will be for 01 Year. 
  • DDA reserves the right to extend the contract period further based on the requirement of the DDA and the satisfactory performance of the candidate. The performance will be reviewed annually. 
  • It is important to note that these posts are temporary, and the engagement is purely on a contractual basis. This engagement will confer no right to the candidates for permanent employment against the said posts.

Selection Process for DDA Young Professional (Legal)

The selection process for the DDA Young Professional (Legal) will be multi-staged, focusing on shortlisting candidates based on their applications followed by an interview.

  1. Scrutiny of Applications & Shortlisting:
    • Candidates must send their bio-data in the prescribed format via email. 
    • Sending bio-data does not automatically mean the applicant will be called for an interview. 
    • Only those candidates who are shortlisted as per criteria devised by DDA, keeping in view the requirements of the work, will be called for an interview. No communication regarding non-shortlisting will be entertained. 
  2. Walk-in Interview:

    • The date, time, and venue of the interview will be communicated to the shortlisted candidates in due course and will also be posted on the DDA website. 
  3. Document Verification at the Time of Interview:
    • Applicants are required to produce original and supporting documents at the time of the interview, if called. 
    • Candidates must bring all documents/certificates related to qualification, experience, etc. 
    • They should also bring 02 passport-size photographs in original, along with one set of self-attested photocopies of the documents supporting their educational qualifications and experience on the date of the interview. 
  4. Final Selection Criteria:
    • The criteria for final selection will include:
      • Marks obtained by the candidate in the required essential qualifications for the post. 
      • Relevant experience (though “NIL” is mentioned as the requirement, any relevant legal exposure might be considered as per this clause). 
      • Marks obtained in the interview. 

Important Note: No TA/DA (Travelling Allowance/Dearness Allowance) will be paid for attending the interview.
