Eligibility Criteria — DSSC Group C 2026

Educational Qualification

Each post has its own specific qualification. The broad picture is:

  • LDC: 12th Class pass + typing 35 WPM English or 30 WPM Hindi
  • CMD (Ordinary Grade): 12th Class pass + valid heavy vehicle driving licence + 2 years experience driving heavy vehicles

  • Supervisor (Networking): BE/B.Tech or MCA / M.Sc. (CS / IT) + 2 years experience in network and server management
  • Network Administrator: 12th Class + Diploma in Networking OR BCA + CCNA + CCNP + 2 years experience
  • Hardware Administrator: 12th Class + Advance Diploma in Computer Hardware OR BCA + VLSI certification + 2 years experience
  • Lineman: 12th Class + Diploma in Optical Fiber Cable Line Management + 2 years experience
  • Boat Builder: 12th Class + 2 years FRP boat repair experience (PSU / private shipyard) OR National Apprenticeship Certificate in Marine Fitter OR Ex-sailors Indian Navy / Coast Guard from Shipwright / Hull Artificer trade

What is the Salary for DSSC Group C 2026?

Pay levels follow the 7th CPC Pay Matrix of the Government of India.

  • Pay Level 1 (MTS, Technical Attendant): Rs 18,000 – Rs 56,900 per month
  • Pay Level 2 (LDC, CMD, Boat Builder): Rs 19,900 – Rs 63,200 per month

What is the Selection Process for DSSC Group C 2026?

The selection involves multiple stages depending on the post type.
