The Consultant (Taxation) post is purely contractual for 1 year initially, with an upper age limit of 65 years. All other posts follow regular GNDU service rules.

Eligibility Criteria — GNDU Non Teaching 2026

Educational Qualification

  • Consultant (Taxation): Chartered Accountant (ICAI member) with 5 years of post-qualification experience in Taxation (Income Tax, GST, TDS), preferably in an educational institution / central or state government finance department.
  • Estimator: 2-year Civil Draftsman ITI course OR 3-year Diploma in Civil / Architectural Assistantship. Punjabi up to Matric is essential.
  • Physiotherapist: Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy with at least 50% marks OR Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy with 55% marks. Punjabi up to Matric is essential.
  • Watch & Ward Supervisor: Ex-JCO not below the rank of Subedar-Major OR retired Police Officer not below the rank of Inspector. Punjabi up to Matric is essential.

What is the Salary for GNDU Non Teaching 2026?

GNDU follows the Punjab Government’s revised pay scales (Notification 7/204/2012-4FP 1/66 dated 15.01.2015 as amended) for all regular non-teaching posts.

Allowances are admissible as per Punjab Government rules. Probation and confirmation will follow standard GNDU service regulations. Reservation benefits (and the resulting Domicile certificate requirement) apply only to residents of Punjab.
