- Possess adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.
Age Limit:

GSSSB Assistant Manager Salary and Benefits
Selected candidates for the Assistant Manager position will receive a fixed monthly salary for the first five years.
- Fixed Pay: Rs. 26,000/- per month for the initial five years.
- Regular Pay Scale: After the satisfactory completion of five years, candidates will be eligible for appointment in the regular pay scale of Rs. 19,900/- to Rs. 63,200/- (Level-2) as per the 7th Pay Commission, subject to prevailing government rules and conditions, including outcomes of pending SLPs in the Supreme Court. Other admissible benefits will also be applicable as per government norms.
GSSSB Assistant Manager Selection Process 2025
The selection of candidates for the Assistant Manager posts will be based on a competitive examination conducted in one stage:
- MCQ Based Examination (CBRT/OMR): The exam will consist of two parts, Part-A and Part-B.
- Part-A (60 Marks):
- Logical Reasoning & Data Interpretation: 30 marks
- Quantitative Aptitude: 30 marks
- Part-B (150 Marks):
- Constitution of India, Current Affairs, Gujarati and English Comprehension: 30 marks
- Questions related to the relevant subject (Hotel Management and allied fields) and its utility: 120 marks
- Total Questions: 210 (Part-A: 60, Part-B: 150)
- Total Duration: 3 hours (180 minutes) for both parts combined.
- Negative Marking: There will be a negative marking of 1/4th of the marks allotted to the question for each incorrect answer.
- Minimum Qualifying Marks: Candidates must secure a minimum of 40% in Part-A and 40% in Part-B separately to qualify. For widow candidates and sportspersons, any grace marks awarded will be added to their obtained marks before applying the minimum qualifying standard; however, the qualifying standard will not be less than 40% under any circumstances.
- The syllabus level will be equivalent to the educational qualification prescribed.
