Salary and Benefits
Selected candidates will be offered an attractive salary package. The remuneration structure is as follows:
- Fixed Pay (First 5 Years): ₹40,800 per month.
- Regular Pay Scale: After the successful completion of the initial five-year period, candidates will be appointed on a regular basis in the pay scale of ₹29,200 – ₹92,300 (Pay Matrix Level-5) as per the 7th Pay Commission.

The selection of candidates for the Junior Scientific Assistant post will be conducted through a competitive written examination.
- Mode of Exam: The exam will be a Computer Based Response Test (CBRT) or OMR-based, consisting of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
- Exam Duration: A composite time of 3 hours (180 minutes) will be given for both parts.
