IBPS has released the call letter for the Online Preliminary Examination of CRP CSA-XVI (IBPS Clerk) 2026. You can download it from 1 October 2026 to 11 October 2026; log in with your Registration No / Roll No and Password / Date of Birth (DD-MM-YY), enter the captcha, and save the call letter before the window closes. IBPS has not published a common list of prelims dates — the notification gives only October 2026 (tentative) — so your exam date, session, reporting time and venue are the ones printed on your own call letter. If you opted for a scribe, fill in the scribe details while downloading and download the scribe declaration form separately.
On exam day, carry the call letter with your photograph pasted on it, one additional copy of the same photograph, and an original photo-identity proof bearing exactly the same name, plus a photocopy of it. The notification says candidates without these, or who report after the time printed on the call letter, will not be allowed to take the examination; a Ration Card or a Learner’s Driving Licence is not accepted as ID. The prelims call letter is stamped at the venue, not collected — keep it safely, because you must bring it, with the stamped ID copy, to the Main Examination. After provisional allotment you must clear a qualifying LLPT in your opted language. Candidates who studied that language up to Class 10 or above (with certificate) are exempted. The allotted bank then verifies documents.
