Educational Qualification

  • Agniveer GD (Male & Female WMP): Class 10th / Matric pass with 45% marks in aggregate of five basic subjects and minimum 33% in each subject
  • Agniveer Technical: 12th (Science) with Physics, Maths & English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate. Alternative routes include 12th + ITI (1 year NSQF Level 4+), vocational courses with Physics & Maths (50% aggregate), or 10th + 2 year ITI / 2-3 year Diploma in specified technical streams
  • Agniveer Clerk / Store Keeper Technical: 12th Pass in any stream with 60% marks in aggregate and minimum 50% in each subject. Securing 50% in English and Maths/Accounts/Book Keeping in Class XII is mandatory
  • Agniveer Tradesman 10th: Simple 10th pass with minimum 33% in five basic subjects

Indian Army Agniveer 2026: Selection Process Explained

The recruitment is conducted in two phases:

Phase I: Online Common Entrance Examination (CEE)

Computer Based Test at designated centres across India. The exam is conducted in 13 languages (English, Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Punjabi, Odia, Bengali, Urdu, Gujarati, Marathi, and Assamese). The test is objective MCQ type with mouse-click based answers.
