MECON Executives Recruitment 2025: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must ensure they meet all the eligibility requirements as of the cut-off date, June 18, 2025. The detailed criteria regarding educational qualifications, age limit, and post-qualification experience are as follows:

Educational Qualification

  • Deputy Manager (Mechanical): M.Tech / M.E in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Deputy Manager (Civil): M.Tech / M.E in Structural Engineering.
  • Manager (Civil): B.Tech / B.E in Civil Engineering.
  • Manager (Structural): B.Tech / B.E in Civil Engineering.
  • Manager (Liaison Officer): MBA in HR / Marketing / Business Analytics or Master of Arts in Mass Communication/Journalism.

Note: Preference will be given to candidates from “Institutes of National Importance” for engineering roles. A minimum of 60% aggregate marks is required for General/OBC(NCL)/EWS candidates, and 55% for SC/ST/PWD candidates.

Post-Qualification Work Experience

  • Deputy Manager (Mechanical): Minimum 5 years of experience. One post requires experience in Hydro-Electric projects, while the other requires at least 4 years in the design of Air pollution control systems.
  • Deputy Manager (Civil): Minimum 5 years of experience, with at least 4 years in the design of concrete structures.
  • Manager (Civil): Minimum 9 years of experience, with at least 6 years in the design of concrete structures for industrial plants (steel plant preferred) and 1 year of site supervision.
  • Manager (Structural): Minimum 9 years of experience, with at least 6 years in the design of Industrial/Infrastructural Steel Structures (steel plant preferred).
  • Manager (Liaison Officer): Minimum 9 years of experience in Liaisoning / Administration/HR/PR/ Corporate communication/Media from a PSU, listed private company, or media house.

Age Limit (as of 18.06.2025)

  • Deputy Manager (E-2 Grade): 32 years
  • Manager (E-3 Grade): 36 years

Age Relaxation:

  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • OBC (NCL): 3 years
  • PWD (UR): 10 years
  • PWD (OBC-NCL): 13 years

  • Ex-Servicemen & J&K Domicile: As per Government of India guidelines.
