Eligibility Criteria for MPEZ Apprentice Roles

Candidates aspiring to apply for the MPEZ Graduate and Diploma Apprentice positions must fulfill the specific eligibility criteria related to educational qualifications, age limit, and domicile.

Educational Qualification

Applicants must have passed their B.E/B.Tech in Electrical, Civil, IT/CSE, B.Com, or Diploma in Electrical/Civil from a government-recognized college.
The year of passing the qualifying degree or diploma must be between 2021 and 2025 (inclusive). Candidates will need to submit a declaration form to this effect.
It is mandatory for candidates to have their registration approved on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal. The date of passing should not be more than 5 years from the date of NATS portal approval; otherwise, their registration will not be approved, leading to the cancellation of their selection.

Age Limit (as of 01.04.2025)

Minimum Age: 18 years for all categories.
Maximum Age (General Category): 30 years.
Age Relaxation: A relaxation of 05 years in the maximum age limit is applicable for SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) candidates.

Domicile

This apprenticeship opportunity is exclusively for candidates who are original residents (domicile) of Madhya Pradesh. A domicile certificate must be submitted.

Other Requirements

Candidates who have previously completed apprenticeship training in any trade from MPEZ or any other establishment are not eligible to apply for the same trade again.

Leave Entitlement

During the apprenticeship period, selected candidates will be eligible for:

13 days of Casual Leave
15 days of Medical Leave
Weekly and National Holidays

In case of accidents, the Employee Compensation Act 1923 will be applicable.

MPEZ Apprentice Selection Process 2025

The selection of apprentices will be based on merit. Here’s a breakdown of the process:

Scrutiny of Applications: Applications received will be screened to ensure they meet the advertised eligibility criteria.
Merit-Based Selection: A merit list will be prepared based on the percentage of total marks obtained in the B.E/B.Tech (Electrical/Civil/IT/CSE), B.Com, and Diploma (Electrical/Civil) examinations from applications received before the deadline.
Tie-Breaker: In cases where candidates have equal marks, preference will be given to the candidate older in age.
Waiting List: A waiting list will be maintained, and candidates may be selected from this list if required.
NATS Portal Registration: Approval of the apprentice’s NATS portal registration is mandatory. The passing date of the candidate should not be more than 5 years at the time of approval; otherwise, the selection will be cancelled.
Medical Fitness: Final selection is subject to the candidate being declared medically fit by a District Medical Officer. PwD candidates must submit a disability certificate issued by a competent authority or District Medical Board, with a disability of 40% or more to avail reservation benefits. Reservation for PwD candidates will be as per state government rules, excluding hazardous trades.
Document Verification: All submitted documents will be verified. If any information is found to be false, concealed, or incorrect at any stage, the candidature will be cancelled, and legal action may be initiated.
