Eligibility Criteria for MPIDC Recruitment 2025
Candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria as of 01 January 2025:
Educational Qualification
- Assistant Grade-2:
- 12th pass from a Recognized Board.
- AND Hindi/English Stenography OR Diploma (including equivalent or higher qualification) in Computer Application.
- Sufficient Knowledge of Online work.
- Assistant Grade-1:
- Any Graduate from a recognised university.
- Selected candidates will have to practically prove their Hindi/English typing skills during the probation period.
- Junior Engineer (Civil):
- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering OR Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
Age Limit (as on 01 January 2025)
- Minimum age for all posts: 21 years.
- Maximum age (for candidates not eligible for age relaxation): 30 years.
- Maximum age with relaxation: 35 years for candidates eligible under vertical/horizontal reservation policies (MP Domicile) and for serving regular employees of the MP state government or its Corporations/Boards.
- Specific Relaxations (MP Domicile Only):
- Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) categories and women candidates (MP Domicile) get a relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit.
- Age relaxation up to 5 years is also available to candidates already serving with the state of MP or its Corporation/Board as regular employees, with the maximum age limit remaining 35 years.
- For Junior Engineer post only: The maximum age limit for Contractual employees of MPIDC to apply is 55 years.
- General Conditions for Age:
- Non-Domicile candidates of all categories will be treated as Unreserved (UR) Category and are not eligible for age relaxation based on category.
- OBC (Creamy Layer) candidates will be considered under UR Category.
- The maximum age limit, including all relaxations (except for MPIDC contractual employees applying for JE), shall be 35 years as per Corporation’s Service Rules 2017.

Salary & Benefits
Selected candidates will be offered attractive pay scales as per the 7th Pay revision, along with admissible Dearness Allowance approved by MPIDC from time to time.
- Assistant Grade-2: Pay Matrix Level – 06 (₹25,300 – ₹80,500)
- Assistant Grade-1: Pay Matrix Level – 7 (₹28,700 – ₹91,300)
- Junior Engineer (Civil): Pay Matrix Level – 9 (₹36,200 – ₹1,14,800)
Selection Process
The selection process for all posts will involve the following stages:
- Online Academic Assessment Test:
- Conducted by MPOnline at various test centres: Bhopal, Gwalior, Jabalpur, Indore, Ujjain, and Satna. The number of cities can be changed.
- The test will consist of 100 objective-type questions.
- Each question will carry 4 marks, making the total marks 400.
- There will be negative marking: 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
- The duration of the online examination will be 2 hours (120 minutes).
- Merit List:
- Category-wise merit lists will be prepared by MPOnline based on the online test scores.
- Tie-Breaking Rules (in order of preference):
- Elder candidates (Date of Birth) get a higher rank.
- Earlier 10th passing year gets a higher rank.
- Earlier Graduation passing year gets a higher rank.
- Higher marks in 10th get a higher rank.
- Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates will undergo document verification.
- Appointment:
- Appointment letters will be issued based on the final merit list and subject to verification of original documents.
- Selected candidates will be appointed on probation.
- Final selection is subject to the outcome of petitions regarding OBC reservation pending in the Hon’ble Madhya Pradesh High Court.
MPIDC may fix category-wise minimum cut-off marks.

Syllabus for Assistant Grade-2
The exam will have 100 questions, totaling 400 marks.

- Find the relevant link for “MPIDC Recruitment for Assistant Grade-1, Assistant Grade-2, and Junior Engineer 2025.”
- Register and fill out the online application form with accurate details.
- Upload scanned copies of the required documents. These typically include:
- High School certificate/mark sheet (for Date of Birth proof).
- Higher Secondary/ Diploma certificate.
- Certificate or Mark sheet of Graduation Degree (as applicable per post).
- Caste certificate (for MP Domicile candidates seeking reservation).

After payment, a one-time edit facility will be available, for which portal charges will apply.
Application Fees
- The portal fee, including taxes to MPOnline, will be as declared by MPONLINE on the portal per candidate.
- Payment can be made through electronic mode or in cash at an MPOnline KIOSK.
- No extra charges are payable for scanning photographs, etc., to the KIOSK apart from the portal charges.
- Objection calling fee will also be payable to MPOnline through electronic mode if candidates wish to raise objections to the model answer key.
