The Selection Process: How to Get Selected
The selection process is designed to be fair and transparent, ensuring that the most deserving candidates are chosen.
- Computer Based Test (CBT): The primary stage of selection is a 100-mark online examination.
- The test will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions, each carrying 1 mark.
- There is no negative marking for incorrect answers.
- The duration of the exam will be 2 hours.
- For technical posts (AE, JE, etc.): 75 questions will be from the relevant engineering discipline, and 25 questions will cover General Knowledge, Aptitude, and Reasoning.
- For non-technical posts: All 100 questions will be based on General Knowledge, English, Maths, Basic Computer, and Reasoning.
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET):
- This is applicable only for Security Officer and Security Guard posts.
- Candidates who qualify the CBT will be called for a PET, which includes an 800-meter run. Qualifying this test is mandatory.
- Document Verification:
- Candidates who clear the CBT (and PET, where applicable) will be shortlisted for document verification based on merit.
