- Assistant Engineer (Transmission):
- Candidate must have a full-time regular B.E./B.Tech. or AMIE degree in “Electrical” or “Electrical and Electronics” Engineering from an AICTE/UGC recognized university/institute.

- 65% for Unreserved (UR) / OBC candidates of MP Domicile.
- 55% for SC/ST/EWS/PwD candidates of MP Domicile.

- Law Officer:
- Candidate must have a full-time Law Graduate (LLB) degree from a UGC recognized university/institute.
- Minimum Percentage:

- Junior Engineer (Transmission):
- Candidate must have a regular Diploma, B.E., B.Tech., or AMIE degree in “Electrical” or “Electrical and Electronics” Engineering from an AICTE/UGC recognized university/institute.

- Must have passed the 10th standard from a Central or State Government recognized board.
- Must have a 2-year ITI certificate in the “Surveyor” trade from an NCVT/SCVT recognized institute (excluding apprenticeship period).

- Minimum Age:
- For Grade II posts (AE, Law Officer): 21 years
- For Grade III & IV posts (JE, Attendants): 18 years
- Maximum Age:

Selection Process
The selection of candidates will be based on a multi-stage process designed to assess their knowledge and fitness for the role.
- Computer-Based Test (CBT): All applicants will have to appear for an online computer-based test. The test will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions, with each question carrying one mark. The syllabus will be released separately on the official website.
- Physical Efficiency Test (For Attendant Posts): Candidates who qualify the CBT for the posts of Line, Substation, and Surveyor Attendant will be called for a physical test. They will be required to walk 1 kilometer in 10 minutes while carrying a weight of 15 kilograms.
- Document Verification: Candidates who clear all the required stages will be called for document verification. Final selection is subject to the successful verification of all original documents.
