Educational Qualification and Experience
All four posts ask for the same base profile. You must be a retired officer or an experienced professional with one of these:
- BE or B.Tech
- BSc (Engg.)
- BSc
- Diploma in Engineering
You also need a minimum of 15 years of experience in operating the plant for which you want to be engaged. If you retire from a central PSU, you must have superannuated from Grade C, D or E. Retirees from other grades do not meet this condition.

What Is the Salary for NRL Advisor Recruitment 2026?
The pay is all-inclusive and fixed. It depends on the grade at which you retired from a central PSU.

For private sector and government candidates, NRL decides the amount between Rs 1,00,000 and Rs 1,25,000 based on your last drawn remuneration and experience.

- During tours, TA/DA is payable as per NRL’s equivalent grade at NRL rates.
- You get 20 days paid leave for every 12 months, on a pro-rata basis, and normal NRL company holidays apply.

Every post also carries “any other assignment” given by the Reporting Officer. You will work like a regular officer and follow normal office timings. You may be called on weekly offs or holidays in urgent cases. You may also have to travel to other NRL work locations. During the engagement you are not allowed to take any other assignment.
