Update (5 October 2026): OPSC has scheduled the Odisha Civil Services Main (Written) Examination 2025 (Advt. No. 05 of 2025-26) from 29 October 2026 to 7 November 2026. This date range comes from OPSC Notice No. 5520/PSC dated 24.09.2026, a scribe notice for PwD candidates. It gives no paper-wise timetable, timing or exam centre, so keep checking the OPSC website for the detailed schedule and admit card.
Scribe for PwD candidates: Candidates with Blindness, Locomotor Disability (both arms affected) or Cerebral Palsy may take a scribe. They must email the scribe details in the Appendix-II proforma to opsc@od.gov.in so that they reach the Commission on or before 5 October 2026. Candidates with any other benchmark disability who opted for a scribe must first get a Written Statement (Appendix-I) from the Chief Medical Officer, Civil Surgeon or Medical Superintendent of a Government Health Care Institution confirming a physical limitation to write, and then email the Appendix-II details by the same date.
Conditions: the scribe’s qualification should be one step below the candidate’s. The email must clearly mention the candidate’s PPSAN and date of birth, with the scribe’s scanned photograph, a photocopy of the scribe’s educational qualification and the scribe’s specimen signature. A candidate who fails to furnish the details by the stipulated date shall not be allowed a scribe under any circumstances, and only persons recognised by the Commission can act as scribes. In the Appendix-II undertaking, the candidate agrees to forfeit the right to the post and all claims relating to it if the scribe’s qualification is later found to differ from the one declared and to be beyond the candidate’s own. PwD candidates who already submitted scribe details for the OCS Preliminary Examination 2025 under Notice No. 5015/PSC dated 03.09.2026 need not submit them again.
