For Chauffeur in Rajasthan High Court & RSLSA:
- Education: Must have passed Senior Secondary (12th Class) from the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) or any other recognized board.
- Driving License: Must possess a valid Driving License for Light Motor Vehicle (LMV).
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in driving LMV (with automatic transmission, power steering, and power brakes) after obtaining the valid license. The experience will be counted up to the last date of application (07.07.2025).
- EyeSight: Vision must be 6/6 without or with glasses.
- Skills: Must have knowledge of road-side vehicle repair and proficiency in driving.
For Driver in District Courts & DLSAs:
- Education: Must have passed Senior Secondary (12th Class) from RBSE or any other recognized board.
- Driving License: Must possess a valid Driving License for both Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) and Transport Vehicle (TV).
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in driving LMV and Transport Vehicles after obtaining the valid licenses. The experience will be counted up to the last date of application (07.07.2025).
- EyeSight: Vision must be 6/6 without or with glasses.
- Skills: Must have knowledge of road-side vehicle repair and proficiency in driving.

Salary and Benefits (Pay Scale)
Selected candidates will be offered an attractive salary package along with other government allowances.
- Probation Period (2 years): During the initial two years of the probation period, candidates will receive a fixed remuneration of ₹14,600/- per month.
- After Probation: Upon successful completion of the probation period, candidates will be placed in the Pay Matrix Level L-05, with a pay scale of ₹20,800 – ₹65,900/-. Candidates will also be eligible to other benefits such as House Rent Allowance (HRA), Dearness Allowance (DA), Transport Allowance (TA), Pension Scheme as per State Government Rules.
Selection Process
The selection of candidates for the Rajasthan High Court Driver post will be conducted in three stages. Candidates need to qualify at each stage to move to the next.
- Written Examination (Screening Test – 100 Marks): This is a screening test to shortlist candidates. It will be an objective-type OMR-based exam. The marks from this test will not be considered for the final merit list.
- Syllabus: Questions related to reading and understanding traffic signs, directions, vehicle and road-side repair knowledge, and traffic rules.
- Qualifying Marks: 45 marks for General/Other categories and 40 marks for SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen.
- Job Test (90 Marks): This is the main practical test.
