Selection Process: Your Path to Success

The selection process is designed to identify the most capable and deserving candidates. It consists of two main stages:

  1. Online Test:
    • This will be a computer-based objective-type test conducted in Mumbai and Nagpur.
    • The test medium will be English, Hindi, and Marathi.
    • Exam Pattern: The 90-minute test will have 100 questions (200 marks total).
      • 80 questions from your specific discipline (e.g., Chemical, Mechanical).
      • 20 questions from General English, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, and General Knowledge.
    • Negative Marking: There will be negative marking for incorrect answers.
  2. Skill Test:
    • Candidates who clear the online test will be shortlisted for a Skill Test in a 1:7 ratio.
    • This test is qualifying in nature and will assess your practical job knowledge, equipment handling skills, and safety awareness.
    • For the Junior Fireman post, this includes a rigorous Physical Endurance Test.
    • Final selection will be based on the merit list prepared from the marks obtained in the Online Test only.
