The Senior Scientist experience also counts as 8 years combined as Assistant Professor or Scientist and high-quality post-doctoral research (excluding the Ph.D. period), with at least 5 publications. Fixed pay in private or non-government bodies is not counted as equal to the stated pay scale.
NET can be waived only for a Ph.D. in the concerned subject done with course work under UGC Regulation 2009, with the NET exemption certificate (Annexure-I) and two full-length publications in journals with NAAS rating of at least 4. A Ph.D. without course work gets no waiver, except those who registered before 2009 or finished before 2009 without course work, who need two papers with NAAS rating 4 or above.

The age is counted on the issue date of the advertisement (28 October 2026). However, a separate clause says an applicant whose age exceeds the limit on the last date of application is not eligible. The two dates conflict, so if you are near the limit, check the University website. SC, ST and OBC get up to 5 years relaxation, and so do women and Divyang candidates. The appointment is purely temporary, on probation, and covered by the New Pension Scheme (NPS) of 2005. Services can be moved to another project or station. At joining you must give a bond of ₹1,000 on non-judicial stamp paper to serve at least three years. If you leave early, you must pay your salary for the rest of the bond period in one instalment. During the bond period the University will not forward your application for outside jobs. After the bond, either side can end the service with one month’s notice or one month’s salary (one clause mentions three months’ salary, so read the PDF).

One note says the fee for M.P.-domicile PwD applicants is waived as per rules, while the fee table lists a reduced Divyang fee, so confirm on the portal.
