Educational Qualification
- 10th Pass / Matriculation from a recognized board with minimum 50% aggregate marks
- National Trade Certificate (NTC) in the relevant designated trade, issued by NCVT (National Council for Vocational Training)
- Important: Candidates who have only completed ITI training but have NOT received their NTC are not eligible. Also, Engineering Graduates and Diploma holders are NOT eligible for this apprenticeship.

- If age is also same, the candidate with an earlier 10th passing date gets preference
Trade Allotment
Trades are allotted in descending order of merit. If a particular trade doesn’t have enough candidates, the shortfall is filled from candidates of other trades.
