Age Limit
The notification does not state any minimum or maximum age limit. It only asks for a date of birth proof (DOB certificate, 10th mark sheet or passing certificate) with the form.
OBC (NCL) and EWS Certificates
The certificate must be based on the income of FY 2025-26, issued between 01.04.2026 and 31.10.2026, valid for FY 2026-27, in Government of India format. PwBD candidates need a disability certificate from a duly constituted Medical Board of a State or Central Government hospital, countersigned by the Medical Superintendent/CMO/Head of the institution. They will also be evaluated by a Medical Board to confirm eligibility.

Please note that no separate intimation will be sent for the counselling by any medium except email, so keep checking your email and the AIIMS website. Bring the originals of your degree, internship completion certificate, date of birth proof, caste certificate and NMC/DMC registration, because without them you will not be permitted to appear for the counselling. Other terms and conditions remain the same as the July 2026 recruitment advertisement. Since seats are few in some departments, a high INI-CET rank or MBBS percentage will matter most, so keep your scorecards handy.
Joining rules and penalties you must know:
- Joining is on working days only, and no extension is given for joining.
- Selected candidates who do not join after being allotted a post in counselling must pay a penalty of one month’s salary to get their original documents back.
- One month’s notice is needed to resign. Any shortfall is treated as a penalty. In December, 15 days’ notice is mandatory.
