Only the Matriculation or Higher Secondary certificate from a Board is accepted as date of birth proof. A birth certificate is used only if the date of birth is missing there.

What is the Salary of BEL Probationary Engineer 2026?
The basic pay scale is Rs 40,000-3%-1,40,000, which is due for revision from 01.01.2027. The CTC is about Rs 13 lakh (approx.). Selected candidates also get DA, HRA, conveyance allowance, performance related pay, medical reimbursement and other perquisites as admissible.

You can choose 5 test centres nearest to you from the list in the notification. A change of centre will not be allowed, and BEL does not pay travel cost for the CBT. Outstation candidates called for the interview get AC Chair Car or III Tier AC train fare by the shortest route. Call letters are only on the BEL website, not by post or e-mail.

Keep a valid personal e-mail ID and mobile number, a white-background photo not older than 3 months (3.5 cm x 4.5 cm, 100-200 KB) and a signature scan (80-150 KB). The form cannot be edited after submission, and the category cannot be changed. Send no hard copy to BEL. If you apply more than once, only the higher Application Sequence Number is considered, and the fee paid on one number is not adjusted against another. BEL is not responsible if you fail to submit because of the last-minute rush.
