What is the Eligibility for BEL Project Engineer-I 2026?
Educational Qualification
You need a full-time B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc Engineering (4-year course) with at least a pass class, from an AICTE/UGC approved college or a recognised university. The branch printed on your degree must be one of these:

Experience
You need more than two years of relevant post-qualification industry experience as on 01.10.2026. Exactly two years is not enough. The notification also lists the skills each role is looking for:

Be careful about what counts. Teaching, academic or research work will not be considered as industry experience. Work in banks, financial institutions and non-profit organisations, and internships done as part of your course, also will not be considered.
