The notice is a short press release in Malayalam, signed by the Principal. It says a vacancy has arisen in the post for 2026-27 and that a test/interview will be held, after which a rank list will be prepared.
This is a temporary appointment only. It is not a permanent appointment, and the notice says nothing about extension or regularisation. Think of it as a good way to gain teaching-lab experience at a government-run engineering college, and weigh it against your other plans before you decide.
How Many Vacancies Are There in CEC Chengannur Demonstrator Recruitment 2026?
| Post | Vacancies |
|---|---|
| Demonstrator/Workshop Instructor (Electronics) | Not stated in the notice |
The notice speaks of a vacancy that has arisen but gives no number. Please do not rely on any figure you see elsewhere. Confirm the count with the college office before you travel if it matters to you.
What Is the Eligibility for CEC Chengannur Demonstrator Recruitment 2026?
Educational Qualification
| Route | Requirement |
|---|---|
| Route 1 | First Class 3-year Diploma in Electronics |
| Route 2 | First Class B.Sc degree in Electronics |
Either route is accepted. The words First Class apply to both, so a pass class below that is not what the notice asks for. Diploma holders can also look at our Diploma government jobs page, and B.Sc graduates at the Graduate government jobs page.
Age Limit
| Category | Age Limit |
|---|---|
| All candidates | As per Government norms |
The notice gives no minimum or maximum figure and lists no category-wise relaxation. It only says the age limit will follow Government norms. Carry proof of age and ask the college how the norms apply to you if you are close to a limit.
What Is the Salary for CEC Chengannur Demonstrator 2026?
The notice does not state any pay, salary or remuneration for this temporary appointment. We have not added any figure, because a guessed number could mislead you. Ask the college office at the walk-in, or check the official website, before you accept any terms.
What Is the Selection Process for CEC Chengannur 2026?
| Stage | Detail |
|---|---|
| Test / Interview | Held on 4 November 2026 at 10:00 AM |
| Rank List | Prepared after the test/interview |
The notice does not give a syllabus, exam pattern, marks or number of rounds. Turn up prepared for questions on electronics basics, workshop practice and your diploma or degree subjects. This is our advice, not something the notice says. A rank list is being prepared, but the notice does not say how many candidates will be appointed from it.
How to Apply for CEC Chengannur Recruitment 2026 Walk-in?
This is an offline, walk-in process. There is no application link and no registration portal in the notice.
| Step | Action |
|---|---|
| 1 | Check that you hold a First Class Diploma or B.Sc in Electronics |
| 2 | Collect the original certificates that prove your qualification and your age |
| 3 | Make attested copies of those certificates |
| 4 | Reach College of Engineering Chengannur before 10:00 AM on 4 November 2026 |
| 5 | Appear in person before the Principal for the test/interview |
You must appear in person on the fixed date and time. The notice asks you to appear in person; it mentions no later date and no option to send someone else. Bring both the originals and the attested copies, because the notice asks for both. A missing proof of qualification or age is the easiest way to lose a day’s travel, so check the bag the night before.
Some practical tips from us, not from the notice:
- Reach early, so that you are not hurried at the Principal’s office at 10:00 AM.
- Keep a few passport-size photographs and a pen with you.
- Keep a copy of the notice on your phone. You can get it from the link in Essential Links below.
- Carry your mark sheets so that the First Class result is easy to see.
What Are the Important Dates for CEC Chengannur Recruitment 2026?
| Event | Date |
|---|---|
| Notice Date | 29 October 2026 |
| Walk-in Test / Interview | 4 November 2026, 10:00 AM |
Because the walk-in date is also the only deadline, plan your travel the day before. Chengannur is in Alappuzha district, Kerala. The notice gives no separate last date for an application, so there is nothing to post or upload by 4 November 2026. The college gave the notice date as 29 October 2026, and the walk-in is held just under a week later, so there is very little time to prepare.
Is There Any Application Fee for CEC Chengannur Recruitment 2026?
The notice does not mention any application fee, and it does not describe any payment mode. Ask at the college if you are unsure, and keep to the official instructions. Never pay any person who offers to arrange a seat for you; the notice asks only for certificates.
