One warning that costs people their application every year: SC, ST and OBC (NCL) candidates who apply against an Unreserved post do not get the caste age relaxation and are judged exactly like general candidates for selection. The exam is OMR or computer based objective type at SSC + ITI / XII standard. Pick Hindi or English as your medium in the form — leave it blank and English is assumed, with no change allowed later. Negative marking applies in Paper-II and Paper-III, where one mark is deducted for every wrong answer; the notification states that Paper-I carries zero negative marks.
