⚠️ Local rule that excludes many: only OBC (Delhi) candidates notified by the Government of NCT of Delhi, holding a certificate from the Revenue Department, GNCTD, get reservation and age relaxation. OBC (Outside) candidates are treated as Unreserved and must apply under UR. There is one way back in — an OBC certificate issued outside Delhi still counts if the community is notified as OBC by GNCTD and the certificate was granted on the basis of a GNCTD-issued OBC certificate held by your father, siblings or paternal uncles who were residing in Delhi before 8 September 1993. Creamy-layer OBC candidates get nothing and must show their category as General.
Every category certificate — SC, ST, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), EWS or PwBD — must already be in hand on or before the last date, in the prescribed format, or your claim lapses and you are considered against UR. The category you enter in the form cannot be changed later, and you may apply for only one of the three advertised posts.
