Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission Vacancy 2026: Posts, Pay, Eligibility and How to Apply

Notice that Advisor (Finance) and Junior Law Officer are listed as contract posts. Still, for all seven posts, DERC first looks for a suitable deputationist from a government department, PSU or autonomous body, and turns to contract hiring only if no suitable deputation candidate is found.

The age limit is subject to the general guidelines of the Central Government / Government of NCT of Delhi. No minimum age is stated in the notice.

What is the Salary for DERC Recruitment 2026?

Pay depends on how you are appointed. On deputation, DERC Regulations and DoPT rules govern pay. On contract, you get a fixed consolidated monthly pay, and the EPF amount is deducted from it, with DERC adding a matching EPF contribution.

On contract, the fixed consolidated pay runs from ₹39,970 per month (Lower Division Clerk) to ₹2,45,410 per month (Advisor (Finance)), and it stays fixed for the contract period.

Selected deputationists only also get lease accommodation, as per the rental ceiling below (subject to revision).

Both deputation and contract staff get medical, telephone, internet, newspaper and children education allowance facilities as per entitlement, if not availed from another source. There are also chances to attend training programmes, conferences and study tours.

The Annexure-I undertaking asks you to certify that no vigilance or disciplinary case is pending, no penalty was imposed in the last 10 years and no criminal prosecution is pending. The Annexure-II undertaking asks you to certify no pending prosecution, no punitive action for misconduct, and that you were never convicted, charge-sheeted or penalised; enclose your last relieving order too.

  2. Open the online application form and follow the instructions on the page.
  3. Fill every field; no column should be left blank.
  4. Upload documents proving your essential qualifications, plus your last 3 months’ salary slips, ITR statements and Form-16.
  5. Upload the undertaking as per Annexure-I or Annexure-II, whichever applies to you.
  6. Submit the form before 10 November 2026 and keep a copy of what you submitted.

The notification does not mention any application fee or payment step. Keep your NOC with vigilance clearance ready, because if you do not upload it now, you must show it at the interview.
