What is the Eligibility for DIAT Recruitment 2026?
All qualifications must be from a UGC/AICTE recognised university or institution. SC/ST/Differently-abled candidates may get a 5% relaxation in marks for eligibility and for assessing a good academic record. The time taken to earn your PhD is not counted as teaching or research experience. For Assistant Professor posts, the degree must be from an Indian university or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university. What is the Salary for DIAT Faculty Posts 2026?
Regular posts follow the 7th CPC with admissible allowances. Professor of Practice posts get a fixed consolidated amount.

Professor of Practice: no other allowances or benefits are admissible. The exact amount depends on expertise level, as decided by the competent authority.
A Professor of Practice is engaged for up to one year at first, extendable after assessment. The stay cannot exceed three years, extendable by one year in exceptional cases, and the total service cannot cross four years under any circumstances. Regular posts have a one-year probation, which can be extended if work is unsatisfactory.
