The MLHP/CHO/MO post has the widest door. MBBS, BAMS, B.Sc Nursing and GNM holders can all apply, but nurses who graduated before 2020 or hold GNM must also have the 6-month CPCH Bridge Programme. Without it, that route is closed.

Two gaps are worth knowing. The notification prints no qualification for the six AYUSH posts, and none separately for Occupational Therapist. Ask at the DM&HO office before you submit for these posts.

The limit follows G.O.Ms.No.86, General Administration (Services-A) Department, dated 18-05-2026. Note that the Ex-Servicemen relaxation applies only to Medical Officer posts.

Where the 90 + 10 formula applies, age weightage starts at 18 years: 0.5 mark per completed year, up to 10 marks, counted as on 01-07-2026. So a 20-year-old gets 1 mark, a 30-year-old gets 6 marks and a 40-year-old gets 10 marks.
