The notice prints no category-wise (SC, ST, OBC) split, so no reservation breakdown can be given here. It also says a selected candidate may be deployed to any IFC unit under the MKSP-IFC project in any block of Birbhum, so the GP in the table is not a guarantee of where you will work.

What is the Eligibility for DMMU Birbhum CRP Recruitment 2026?

ConditionRequirement
Gender and membershipWoman member of an NRLM Self-Help Group (SHG)
EducationPassed the Higher Secondary Examination or an equivalent 12th-standard examination
ExperienceAt least 3 years working as a CRP, Meen Mitra, Van Sakhi, PMK or other community cadre under the DAY-NRLM project

If you hold a 12th pass qualification and have worked as a community cadre, the experience rule is the one to check first. The three years must be certified by the concerned BDO, and that certificate has to be submitted along with the application form. A certificate from anyone else is not what the notice asks for.

Three further conditions are easy to miss:

  • If selected, you must resign from any post or service as a worker of a Government organisation or NGO, ICDS, ASHA, VRP, PRI member or PRI office bearer, whether part-time or full-time.
  • You must be willing to attend any training or workshop within and outside the State whenever required.
  • You must be willing to be deployed to any IFC unit under the project in any block of Birbhum.

What the CRP Does

The CRP reports to the BDO of the concerned block. The work includes household-level livelihood surveys, helping prepare the Detailed Project Report (DPR), and season-wise, crop-specific training for Mahila Kisans with handholding support to women SHG members. A CRP also forms Producer Groups, helps arrange credit linkages for the Producer Organisations, and supports the CLF in running the Livelihood Service Centre (LSC). You must share daily progress on the designated WhatsApp group and send a monthly report through the BMMU and the CLF, and you may be given any other job assigned by the BDO or ADMD, DMMU, Birbhum.

🎂 Not sure if you meet the age criteria? Use our free Age Calculator for Government Exams to find your exact age on the cut-off date and check whether you are within the age limit. →

The notice fixes the age on 1 January 2026, not on the closing date, and it does not mention any relaxation for any category. Proof of age is a copy of the Madhyamik (or equivalent 10th-standard) admit card or a Birth Certificate. Check your exact age on the cut-off date before you travel to Suri.

What is the Salary for DMMU Birbhum CRP Recruitment 2026?

ComponentDetail
RemunerationAs per the existing order of WBSRLM
AmountNot stated in the notice
Allowances for test and interviewNo T.A. or D.A. is paid for appearing

The notification gives only the line “Entitlement: As per the existing order of WBSRLM” and prints no rupee figure, so none is quoted here. Since you have worked as a community cadre, the practical step is to ask your Block Mission Management Unit (BMMU) what the current WBSRLM order provides for this role. Treat any amount you hear from other sources as unconfirmed until it appears in an official order.

What is the Selection Process for DMMU Birbhum CRP Recruitment 2026?

Selection has two stages, a written test followed by an interview, with 90 marks for the written test and 10 for the interview.

StageDetail
Written test90 marks, 45 MCQs of 2 marks each, 1 hour 30 minutes
Syllabus10th-standard level: Math, English, G.K., NRLM-related topics and basic computer knowledge
Interview10 marks, only for candidates who qualify in the written test

The notice does not give the test date, the qualifying marks or any negative-marking rule, so do not assume any of these. Watch the Birbhum district website and your block office for the schedule. Because the paper is pitched at the 10th standard, steady revision in arithmetic, basic English, general knowledge and computer basics, along with what you already know from field work in NRLM, is a sensible plan. Candidates can also build an exam routine using previous papers and practice material.
