When Will the DSSSB Admit Card 2026 Be Released? (Exam-Day Notes)
Your exam date, timing and centre will be printed on your e-admit card. Key points from the notice:
- Links to download the e-admit card will be given shortly on the official DSSSB website.
- Visit the DSSSB website and the OARS portal regularly for further information.
- Keep your e-mail address and mobile number updated for future communication.
- DSSSB may also send information to your registered mobile number, but if you do not receive it for any reason, you get no right to an extension of the admit card download or to a re-examination.
The original advertisement adds these exam rules:
- A candidate who applies more than once and appears in the examination more than once will have the candidature cancelled and will be debarred from the Board’s examinations.
- Calculators, mobile phones, bluetooth devices, earbuds, electronic watches and metallic items are not allowed. A candidate found with any prohibited gadget will be debarred from the examination, and legal proceedings will be initiated.
- Candidature at the exam stage is only provisional. Documents are sought later through the e-dossier, and a candidate who fails to upload it in the given time will not be considered.

What is the Selection Process for DSSSB Recruitment 2026?
Selection is based mainly on a Computer Based Test (CBT), called the One-Tier Examination. Before you start studying, check the latest exam syllabus and pattern to plan your preparation.
One-Tier (General) Posts
A single CBT of 200 questions for 200 marks in 2 hours, covering General Awareness, General Intelligence & Reasoning, Arithmetical & Numerical Ability, Hindi and English (40 marks each).
One-Tier (Technical / Teaching) Posts
A CBT of 200 marks in 2 hours with two sections — Section A (100 marks) on general subjects and Section B (100 marks) on the specific subject of your post. Minimum qualifying marks apply.
Skill Test & Other Tests
The advertisement says a Skill Test, Physical Endurance Test, Driving Test, Trade Test or Aptitude Test will be taken as per the requirement of the job. There is negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer in the CBT.
