Please note one thing carefully. Machinist (G), Painter, Carpenter, Plumber and Diesel Mechanic have no EWS, SC or ST seat — only one UR and one OBC seat each. What is the Salary (Stipend) for ECIL ITI Trade Apprentices 2026?
The notification does not state a stipend amount. It mentions a stipend only in the withdrawal clause, where trainees who fail to complete training must refund the stipend received. Please do not trust any figure you see elsewhere until ECIL or the apprenticeship portal confirms it.

This is a two-portal process. Registering on the apprenticeship portal alone is not an application.
- Register first on the Apprenticeship India portal of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (link in Essential Links) and complete your profile.
- Note your registration number from the MSDE portal and keep proof of registration — the ECIL application is meant for candidates registered there, and the original is checked at document verification.
- Now open the ECIL official website and go to Human Resources → Current Job Openings.
- Fill the online application for the ITI Trade Apprentice advertisement, choose your trade carefully and use an email ID you check daily.
- Submit the form and print the application with its system-generated application number. You can re-print it before the last date.
