What is the Eligibility for FSL Delhi Intern Recruitment 2026?
Educational Qualification
Every division asks for a specific degree. The notification says the degree must be from a recognised university in Delhi, so a student from outside Delhi should read this line twice.
| Division | Requirement |
|---|---|
| Chemistry | Master’s in Chemistry, Toxicology, Biochemistry, or Forensic Science with Chemistry as a subject in all three years of B.Sc. |
| Biology | Master’s in Zoology, Botany, Microbiology, Anthropology, Biology, Human Biology, Life Science, Biochemistry, Genetics, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, or Forensic Science with Zoology or Botany in all three years of B.Sc.; OR B.E. / B.Tech in Biotechnology |
| Ballistics | Master’s in Physics, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, or Forensic Science with Physics or Mathematics in all three years of B.Sc. |
| Cyber Forensic | Master’s in Computer Science, Computer Application, Information Technology, or Physics with specialisation in Electronics or Cyber Security; OR B.E. / B.Tech in CSE, IT, ECE or Electrical & Electronics Engineering |
| Physics (A/V) | Master’s in Physics, Applied Physics, Computer Science, Electronics, or Forensic Science with Physics in all three years of B.Sc.; OR B.E. / B.Tech in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, Telecommunication, Computer Science, Instrumentation, CSE, ECE, IT, Electronics or EEE |
The important note at the top of the notice says applications from candidates who passed M.Sc. from any recognised university or affiliated college, Delhi Government universities or Central universities located in Delhi will be entertained. Most seats suit post graduate candidates, while Cyber Forensic and Physics (A/V) also open a route for B.Tech holders.
Only fresh candidates can apply. If you have already worked as a paid intern in FSL Delhi, you are not eligible. Answer this question on the form honestly, because the form asks it directly.
Notice the condition about subjects in all three years of B.Sc. For example, a Forensic Science post-graduate can apply for Chemistry only if Chemistry was a subject in each year of graduation. Check your mark sheets year by year before you choose a division.
Age Limit
| Category | Age Limit |
|---|---|
| All candidates | 21 to 27 years as on the last date of application (23 October 2026) |
| SC / ST / OBC | Relaxation as per prevailing Govt. rules |

The notice does not print the number of years of relaxation. It only says SC, ST and OBC relaxation applies as per Government rules, so keep your category certificate ready.
What is the Salary (Stipend) for FSL Delhi Intern Recruitment 2026?
| Component | Amount |
|---|---|
| Fixed stipend | ₹30,000 per month (Thirty Thousand only) |
| Other allowances | None – no other allowance is admissible |
This is a fixed stipend, not a pay scale. There is no DA, HRA or travel allowance. Interns get 8 Casual Leave and 2 Restricted Holidays in a calendar year (or in proportion to tenure). No earned leave, medical leave or any other leave is allowed. Interns may be posted at any division or on Mobile Forensic Vans and must work 24 x 7 in shifts.
In simple words, you get ₹30,000 every month for one year, and nothing on top of it. Plan your stay in Delhi with this amount in mind.
The real value here is the experience. FSL says the programme offers practical experience and a chance to learn the latest forensic techniques, such as fingerprint analysis, DNA analysis and crime scene investigation.

How to Apply Offline for FSL Delhi Intern Recruitment 2026?
This is an offline process. There is no online form and no submit button.
| Step | Action |
|---|---|
| 1 | Download the notification PDF (link in Essential Links below). The application form is printed on its last two pages. |
| 2 | Fill the form by hand: desired division, personal details, category, B.Sc. and M.Sc. subjects year-wise, and whether you were a paid intern at FSL earlier. Paste a passport-size photo and sign the declaration. |
| 3 | Attach self-attested copies of documents for age, qualification, category and experience. |
| 4 | Write on the envelope: “Application for engagement of Intern on stipend basis in (name of division)”. |

Use one form for one division only. If you want two divisions, send separate applications with separate documents. Incomplete applications will be rejected straight away, and no correspondence will be entertained about them. Only applications physically received at FSL count, so post early.
A small tip: post can be slow near festivals, so do not wait for the last two or three days. If you live in Delhi, hand delivery at Rohini removes the postal risk completely. Keep the postal receipt or a photocopy of your filled form, because you will need to remember exactly what you wrote when you face the interview panel.
