In Advt 463 there is no seat for SC candidates and no seat reserved for women, PwBD or ex-servicemen. The reserved posts are for reserved-category candidates who are original residents of Gujarat. Both men and women can apply.
Advt 464 has no category-wise, women or ex-servicemen reservation. Only Divyang candidates with the disability of the group in which the post is shown (Group B: Deaf or Hard of hearing) are eligible. A selected candidate is adjusted against own category (SC, ST, SEBC or EWS) only if an original resident of Gujarat, otherwise as general. An unfilled post is carried forward to the next recruitment occasion.

You can apply without the computer certificate, but you must produce it before appointment. A training institute certificate, a computer course, a degree or diploma with computer as a subject, or SSC/HSC with computer as a subject is accepted. No experience is required. Your age, qualification and certificates are counted as on 9 November 2026.
For Advt 463, the disabilities listed as eligible are Deaf and Hard of hearing (B), locomotor and similar types (C, without any associated neurological or limb dysfunction), and SLD, mental illness and multiple disabilities (D&E). Blindness and low vision (A) is not eligible. Divyang candidates can apply against non-reserved posts, because the reserved post is advertised separately under Advt 464.

Advt 464 gives Divyang candidates 10 to 20 years of relaxation, up to 45 years. Advt 463 disagrees with itself for general Divyang men (43 against 45), so check this on the Board website. Ex-servicemen need 6 months of service, with ID card and discharge book. Gujarat Government employees may get relaxation under the 1967 Rules. Relaxation and reservation are only for original residents of Gujarat in the SC, ST, SEBC and EWS categories. A reserved-category candidate applying against an unreserved post gets no relaxation.

Each wrong answer costs one-fourth of the marks of that question. You must score at least 40% in Part A and 40% in Part B, with no lower standard for any category. The fee table gives a different name to this exam, but the pattern describes a single paper. The syllabus follows the prescribed qualification. Benchmark Divyang candidates with a writing limitation can ask for a scribe and 20 minutes per hour compensatory time, by email at least two days before the exam, using the form on the Board website.
