The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has published the KEA Land Surveyor Provisional Result 2026 for the Residual Parent Cadre (RPC) on 9 October 2026. This result shows the marks each candidate scored in the Land Surveyor (Bhoomapakaru) competitive exam held on 2 October 2026. The marks are worked out from the revised key answers, which KEA also published on 9 October 2026 after a subject expert committee reviewed the objections received on the provisional key answers.
If you find a mistake in your provisional result, you can raise an objection online only through KEA’s designated link, before 11:00 AM on 11 October 2026. Attach supporting documents with every objection. KEA has clearly said that objections without supporting documents, and objections against the key answers, will not be considered at this stage. The result notice does not mention any fee for these objections.

KEA Land Surveyor Answer Key 2026 Out: Paper-1 and Paper-2 Provisional Key (RPC) — Latest Update
The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has published the KEA Land Surveyor Answer Key 2026 (provisional) for the Land Surveyor (Bhoomapaka) competitive exam of the Residual Parent Cadre (RPC), the rest-of-Karnataka cadre, held on 2 October 2026. Keys for both Paper-1 (General Knowledge) and Paper-2 (Specific Paper) are out, covering all 100 questions of each paper for version codes A1, B1, C1, D1, A2, B2, C2 and D2. A few Paper-2 questions accept two options, shown in the key as “2/4”. Match your version code before you tally your answers.
The objection window has now closed. KEA accepted objections online through its portal until 10:30 AM on 5 October 2026, at ₹25 per objection, and that fee is not refunded. Each objection had to give the paper details, exam date, version code and question number, with supporting documents as a PDF. KEA stated that objections without the question number and version code, incomplete or baseless objections, and objections without the fee would not be considered. The subject expert committee will examine the objections, and the key answers it decides will be final.

Educational Qualification
You are eligible if you hold any one of the following from a recognised university or institution:
- A Degree in Engineering in any branch, or an A.M.I.E. qualification in any engineering discipline.
- A B.Sc. degree in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Instrumentation, Electronics and Communication, or Agriculture.
- A Diploma in Engineering or Technology in any branch from an AICTE-approved institution.
Students from a computer and IT background are also eligible through the relevant B.Sc. stream mentioned above.

The minimum age is 18 years as on the last date to apply. The maximum ages below already include the one-time 5-year relaxation granted by the Karnataka government.

What is the Salary for KEA Surveyor 2026?

Written Examination (OMR Based)
The exam has two papers, each with 100 questions for 100 marks and a duration of 2 hours:
