If your 10th or 8th board gives grades or CGPA, you must show the equivalent percentage as per that board’s norms. Without it, the notification says your candidature will not be considered. Get the conversion done before you apply. Freshers with only a 10th pass can still aim for the Crane Operator and Forger trades.

Physical Standards and Previous Training
Physical standards follow the Apprentices Act, 1961 and Rule 4 of Schedule II of the Apprenticeship Rules, 1992. A person may do at most two apprenticeship trainings, and the second cannot be in the same trade. The Central Government’s stipend share is given only for the first training.

Hostel: limited accommodation (for boys only) is available at DAS Karwar on a first come, first served basis for outstation trainees. No hostel is available at NAY Goa, so plan your stay early if you choose Goa.
