NCRTC Namo Bharat Jobs 2026: Supervisor-I and Junior Maintainer Vacancies for Diploma and ITI Holders

The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) has released Vacancy Notice No. 32/2026 for 67 Operations & Maintenance vacancies on direct recruitment: Supervisor-I in five disciplines and Junior Maintainer in four trades. NCRTC is implementing the Namo Bharat commuter rail project in NCR. Supervisor-I pays ₹37,000 – ₹1,15,000 (Level S1) and Junior Maintainer pays ₹18,250 – ₹59,200 (Level NS3). Online applications are open from 10 September 2026 to 9 October 2026 (23:55 hrs). OBC here means OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), and a 0 is printed as a dash in the notice. D01, D04 and D09 carry only Unreserved seats, while D05 and D08 have seats only for UR and OBC (NCL). You can still apply against an unreserved seat, but in such a case the notice says SC, ST, OBC and EWS candidates will not be considered for any relaxation in age or qualifying marks. So, on age alone, a 30-year-old OBC (NCL) candidate could qualify for D06 but not for D09.

For Junior Maintainer posts, ITI is compulsory. The notice says that without the ITI, a higher qualification will not be considered, so a diploma or B.Tech holder with no ITI certificate cannot use that degree for D06 to D09. This is a strong opening for ITI pass candidates. For Supervisor-I, a diploma in engineering is the base requirement, the full-time degree route is open for D02 to D05, and D01 accepts any engineering branch.

Both standards need you to be physically fit in all respects, and Lasik surgery or any radial keratotomy is not allowed for vision correction. These points are indicative; the full rules are in Chapter 5 of the Indian Railway Medical Manual. NCRTC pays for the first medical examination, but if you do not join in time and seek an extension for joining or re-examination, any second medical is at your own cost.
