The page gives two cut-offs for each category: the aggregate Phase-II cut-off (Paper-I, Paper-II and Paper-III taken together, out of 300) used to shortlist candidates for interview, and the aggregate of Phase-II and Interview together (out of 375) obtained by the last recommended candidate with reference to the vacancies notified. A dash means RBI shows no figure for that category.

📢 Final Result Update (15 October 2026): The Reserve Bank of India Services Board has published the Final Result for Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR) — General Cadre, Panel Year 2026 (Advt. No. RBISB/DA/01/2026-27). A total of 40 candidates are recommended for appointment, which matches the 40 General Cadre vacancies: General/UR 16 (including 1 PwBD-C and 1 PwBD-D), EWS 4, OBC 9, SC 7 and ST 4. The list is based on the Phase-II exam held on 25 July 2026 and interviews held during September–October 2026.
What recommended candidates must do: send five copies, all in original, of the duly filled Attestation Form by post to the Reserve Bank of India Services Board, Reserve Bank of India Building, 3rd Floor, Opposite Mumbai Central Railway Station, Byculla, Mumbai-400008, within two weeks from the date of publishing the result. The result is provisional: appointment depends on verification of all certificates and the outcome of any Writ Petitions pending before courts against the recruitment. RBI has since put the scorecard and cut-off marks (Phase-II and/or Interview as applicable) on www.rbi.org.in.

Educational Qualification
Eligibility is cadre-specific and is assessed as on 01 April 2026.
- General Cadre: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with minimum 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD if reserved) OR Master’s degree in any discipline with minimum 55% marks (pass marks for SC/ST/PwBD if reserved) in aggregate of all semesters/years.

What is the Salary for RBI Grade B Officer 2026?
The pay package is one of the strongest reasons RBI Grade B is considered the gold standard among banking exams. Selected candidates begin at the entry level of the revised Officer Grade ‘B’ pay scale.

What is the Selection Process for RBI Grade B Officer 2026?
Selection happens through a two-phase online examination followed by a personal Interview. The pattern differs slightly between the General cadre and the DEPR / DSIM cadres.
Phase-I — Online Examination (Objective)
For the General cadre, Phase-I is a single 200-mark paper of 120 minutes covering General Awareness, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning. For DEPR, Phase-I has Paper-I (Economics objective) plus Paper-II (English descriptive). For DSIM, Phase-I has Paper-I (Statistics objective).
Phase-II — Main Examination
