Look closely before you pick a board. RRB Patna has no OBC-NCL or EWS seat at all, and not every RRB carries all four posts — RRB Ahmedabad, for example, has only Goods Train Manager and Senior Clerk cum Typist. Relaxations are not cumulative — you get only the highest one you qualify for. SC, ST and OBC-NCL candidates applying against UR vacancies get no age relaxation, and PwBD candidates against UR seats get only the PwBD (UR) relaxation.

Anyone who has had Lasik or any eye surgery to correct refractive error is not eligible for Goods Train Manager. Such candidates may still opt for the B-2 and C-2 posts under the conditions in Annexure VII(A).

The CEN prints only the initial basic pay, not allowance rates, so we are not quoting an in-hand figure. Selected candidates get only a stipend during training, where training applies. Each question carries 1 mark and 1/3 mark is deducted for every wrong answer. For PwBD candidates, qualifying marks may be relaxed by 2 marks if there is a shortage. On a tie, the older candidate ranks higher.
Good news for the typist posts: the Computer Based Typing Skill Test for Senior Clerk cum Typist and Junior Accounts Assistant cum Typist has been dispensed with for this CEN. Applications are online only through the RRB application portal.

- Create an Account with a valid mobile number and email — or log in with the account you made for any RRB CEN of 2024, 2025 or 2026. Account details cannot be changed later.
- Authenticate your identity through DigiLocker or Aadhaar; other photo IDs face stricter scrutiny at every stage.

- Fill the form exactly as per your 10th certificate, capture your live photo and upload your signature.
