Every male candidate must expand the chest by at least 5 cm. Women are exempt from the chest measurement. The selection committee’s decision on measurements is final.
You must not be physically disabled, and you must not have knock-knee or flat-foot. You also need to be medically fit, free from eye disease and able to tell the main colours apart. A transgender candidate gets the male or female standard as written in the certificate, and the certificate is compulsory.

You get only one attempt and you must take part in all events. You need 60% marks if you are Unreserved, and 50% if you are SC, ST or OBC. If you are unhappy with your result, you can appeal to the selection committee, whose decision is final.
Written Exam and Interview
The written exam covers General Knowledge, Mental Ability, Analytical Ability, local geography, culture, tradition, social values and Arithmetic. Candidates up to 15 times the number of posts are called, and all those tied at the cut-off are included. The notification does not state the exam duration or any negative marking.
