External candidates also need post-specific knowledge: power distribution, transmission operation or planning, or (preferably in power) finance or HR.
Senior Management Level means DGM/GM and above for central PSU candidates, DGM/SE and above for state PSU candidates, and for private sector candidates, service at middle and upper management in a company with average audited annual turnover of Rs 1,500 crore or more over the three preceding financial years.
