The marks add up to a maximum of 100. If two candidates have equal marks, the older candidate is preferred. Previously engaged Sakhi OSC service providers whose services ended because their posts became surplus get priority on the basis of qualification and experience.

The job is purely temporary. The first term is up to 2 years, which the District Collector can extend one year at a time based on performance.
