Sports Eligibility
Only a sportsperson who has represented any of the following can apply. The games must be from the 65 disciplines in the DoPT Office Memorandum dated 04.03.2024.
- State or country in a National or International competition, or a medal winner in the Junior National Championships.
- Khelo India: medal winner in the Youth Games (above 18 years age category) or University Games, or a participant in the Winter Games or Para Games.
- SGFI: medal winner in the School Games Federation of India.
- University team in Inter-University Tournaments conducted by the Inter-University Sports Boards.
- State School team in National Sports for Schools conducted by the All India School Games Federation.
- Chess: Grand Master or International Master title (in the Open category, such as WGM), or the Chess Olympiad. The National Open Chess Championship counts as a National Championship, and a medal in the National Team Chess Championship is also considered.

The tests are held in Lucknow at your own expense, and the date, time and venue will be told later. How to Apply Offline for CGST Lucknow Sports Quota 2026?
Keep ready self-attested photocopies (never originals) of your Matriculation/SSC certificate for age proof, education certificate, sports certificate in the right Annexure-B form, ID proof and a recent colour photo.
