The interview for a starred post is held only if candidates of that reserved category appear. In all, 18 of the 52 posts are starred (Professor 3, Associate Professor 9, Assistant Professor 6). The printed Assistant Professor line reads “24(6*+20)”, but the rows add up to 24 with 6 starred, so we use 24.

Educational Qualification
The notification says qualification is as per the latest NMC guidelines, and the NMC notification of 30/06/2025 on “Medical Institutions (Qualification of Faculty) Regulations 2025” will apply. It does not spell out degrees post by post. The documents list asks for MBBS and MD/MS/DNB mark-sheets and degrees plus an updated medical registration (State/NMC). The pay is a fixed consolidated amount, even though the pay column in the notification is headed “Basic Pay (Fixed)”. There is no separate allowance listed, so do not count on extras when you compare this offer with your current job.
