Educational Qualification and Other Conditions
All of these are mandatory:
- Matric / Madhyamik (10th) pass from a recognised institution. If you are a 10th pass job seeker, this one is made for you.

- You must be a local resident of Giridih district. Local residents of the concerned blocks get priority.

What Is the Salary (Honorarium) for Fasal Rakshak (Kamdar) 2026?

Selected applicants work for one year or until regular appointment on these posts, whichever is earlier.

What Is the Selection Process for Fasal Rakshak (Kamdar) 2026?
First, every application is checked for eligibility and documents. An application with missing details, missing certificates, unmet mandatory eligibility or false or misleading information will be rejected. Valid applicants are then scored out of 100 marks.

For training, a 5-day certificate gets 5 marks. For more than 5 days, you get marks equal to the number of training days, up to a maximum of 25. Only one training certificate counts. For CGPA or grades, the board’s conversion formula gives the percentage.
Ties are broken by higher Matric marks, then higher age. Original documents are verified before final selection, and a character certificate is needed at joining. If you do not join in time, your selection lapses. A place on the list is not a right to appointment, and the authority can postpone or cancel the advertisement without compensation.

Attach self-attested copies of: Matric certificate and marksheet (also your birth date proof), the 5-day training certificate, any longer training certificate, a valid local resident certificate, a caste certificate where it applies, and your Aadhaar card. Without them the application is incomplete. A character certificate is not needed with the form.
Certificate Rules That Can Cancel Your Claim
- Local resident certificate: valid only in the prescribed format, from the Sub-Divisional Officer on or after 2 June 2016, or from the Circle Officer on or after 19 July 2019. Any earlier or differently formatted certificate is not valid.
- Caste certificate: issued on the basis of the father only. Women who came to Jharkhand by marriage do not get the reservation benefit.
- A reserved-category candidate whose certificate is in a wrong format is considered only against Unreserved posts, under Unreserved conditions.
- Your name and father’s or husband’s name spelling must match your Matric certificate, or the certificate is not valid.
- EBC and BC candidates with an expired certificate must submit the non-creamy-layer self-declaration.
- If you do not claim reservation in the form, you get no reservation benefit.
- False information or a forged certificate can end your contract even after selection, with disciplinary action.
- The form’s declaration says no criminal case is pending against you and no court has punished you.
