Good news for young doctors in Delhi. The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) will hold a walk-in interview for 30 Senior Resident posts at Mata Gujri Hospital, Tilak Nagar, with 1 post for PH candidates. The posts cover eight specialties, from Anaesthesia to Orthopaedics. Pay is at Pay Matrix Level-11 plus admissible allowances. If you are looking for government jobs in Delhi, this walk-in is worth a close look.

There is no online form and no separate closing date. You simply report at the hospital on 29 October 2026 (Thursday) with the filled form, documents and fee draft. The posts are meant mainly for MBBS doctors with a PG degree, DNB or Diploma in the specialty. This guide covers seats by department, eligibility, pay, fee, the marking scheme and the conditions that can stop you at the gate. Read it fully before you travel. We at GovtJobsAlert.in have checked every detail against the official notice.

Anesthesia and Surgery have no Unreserved seat. A general-category doctor from these two specialties has no vacancy in this round. In the same way, Radiology and Orthopedics have only one UR seat each and nothing for other categories. Before you take leave and travel to Tilak Nagar, match your own specialty and category against this table. It takes one minute and can save you a wasted day. From amongst the advertised posts, one post (PH: 01) is reserved for a PwD candidate with One Arm (OA) or One Leg (OL) affected, in a non-surgical branch. The notice also says 4% of sanctioned posts in eligible specialties are reserved for Persons with Disability.

The number of posts in any category may increase or decrease, including complete withdrawal. If SC, ST, OBC or EWS candidates are not available, the post may be filled for 44 days on contract from unreserved candidates, and that engagement ends as soon as a suitable reserved candidate is found.

If you hold an MBBS with a PG in one of these eight specialties, mark 29 October 2026 on your calendar now. Get your demand draft made a few days early, arrange the photocopies in order, and reach Tilak Nagar before 09:30 AM, because registration closes at 11:00 AM. If you miss this date, remember the weekly Thursday walk-in for seats still unfilled. Share this post with a batchmate who is finishing PG this year, because many doctors never hear about municipal walk-ins until the seats are gone.
