Educational Qualification
The degree must be full time and regular from a recognised Indian institution. Distance learning qualifications are not eligible. A foreign degree needs an equivalence certificate.

Work Experience
Experience must be gained after the required qualification. Teaching, lectureship, part-time jobs, apprenticeship, internship, articleship and freelance work will not be counted. Trainee experience counts only if you were regularised in the same company. For regular posts of E2 and above, only executive experience is considered.
- Ammonia and Urea: experience in Ammonia/Urea plant operation respectively, with DCS, ESD system and troubleshooting. Ammonia applicants must currently work in an Ammonia plant, Urea applicants in a Urea plant, at a fertilizer complex.
- Mechanical: maintenance and troubleshooting of rotating machines, static equipment, centrifugal compressors, turbines and piping in an Ammonia-Urea, petrochemical or refinery plant.
- Contracts & Materials: SAP work, tendering, vendor enlistment, purchase orders, inventory and material management, preferably in fertilizer, chemical, petrochemical, hydrocarbon, PSU or government organisations.
- Security: defence and security management at supervisory level. You can be posted as Chief Security Officer at any unit.
- Medical: post-qualification experience in a medical institute or industrial establishment.
