Your date of birth in the Matriculation certificate is the one accepted. The notification does not mention any relaxation for PwBD candidates. The age is counted on 1 January 2026, not on the day you apply, so work out your exact age on that date first. Note that the Sweeper/Safaiwala limit of 40 years comes from a separate Ladakh GAD order quoted in the notification, so do not assume the Fireman limit of 28 applies to it.

Ministerial candidates who do not qualify the computer test (35 words per minute typing, 90% accuracy) are disqualified from the rest of the process.

Sweeper/Safaiwala has no height standard. Its screening long race is 1600 m in 7 minutes 30 seconds for men and 1000 m in 7 minutes 30 seconds for women. A failed PET event is not normally retaken, and the Chairman’s decision is final.
