The Note under Para 1(iii) — the "no demand letter, no claim" bar	Withdrawn. It said that if no department sent a demand letter for a category by 30.09.2026, candidates of that category would have no claim on the strength of their written-exam merit. That bar is gone.
Sr. No. 7(vi) — the merit list’s 30.09.2026 expiry	Withdrawn. It said the merit list would stay valid only for demand letters received up to 30.09.2026, and that no candidate on it would be considered against posts in demand letters received after that date, such claims being rejected. The merit list is no longer time-barred in that way.

Reservation is only for residents of Punjab	The benefit of reservation is available only to residents of Punjab.
