- Certificate: National Apprenticeship Certificate after successful completion
Remember: an apprenticeship is a training programme, not a permanent railway job. But the skills and certificate you earn open many doors in railways, PSUs and private industry.
The notification clearly states that this apprenticeship does not guarantee permanent railway employment — but it remains a strong and respected first step in your career.
What is the Selection Process for RRC NCR Apprentice 2026?
Good news — there is no written exam and no interview. Selection is 100% on the merit of your marks.

- Shortlisting for verification — candidates are called for document verification up to 1.5 times the vacancies, trade-wise and unit-wise.
- Document Verification — original certificates (10th, ITI, category, etc.) are checked.
