If you applied for an Act Apprentice slot, your application status is now out. The Railway Recruitment Cell, North Central Railway, Prayagraj has released the STATUS of the applications filled under Act Apprentice Zonal Notification No. RRC Act Apprentice 01/2026 on its website, under the Act Apprentice (01/2026) section. The notice is dated 02 November 2026.
You can see your own status by logging in on the portal from 03 November 2026 to 08 November 2026. Please do not leave it to the last day, because the window is only six days long.
Document verification: the proposed programme for document verification has not been announced yet. The notice says it will be issued shortly, so keep checking the RRC Prayagraj website regularly.
Please note: this is only an application status notice. It is not a merit list and it is not a final selection list. What is the Eligibility for RRC NCR Apprentice 2026?
Educational Qualification
You must have BOTH of the below, already passed as on 07 July 2026:
- 10th (Matriculation) pass with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from a recognised board, AND
- ITI (National Trade Certificate) in the relevant trade, affiliated to NCVT/SCVT.
Candidates whose 10th or ITI result is awaited, or who failed in ITI, are not eligible. Engineering graduates and diploma holders should not apply — they come under a separate scheme. If you are an ITI-qualified candidate, make sure the trade you hold matches the trade you apply for.

What is the Salary and Stipend for RRC NCR Apprentice 2026?
During the one-year apprenticeship training, you will receive a stipend fixed by the Railway Board and concerned State Government rules. The notification does not mention a fixed rupee figure, so the stipend is paid at the prescribed rate applicable during your training period.
