UPDATE (28 September 2026): The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board has released a press note with the tentative (संभावित) exam dates for the Teaching Associate (Contract Based) Direct Recruitment Exam 2026 (Advt. No. 06/2026, 32 subjects). The exam is now proposed for 17 November 2026 and 7, 9, 10, 11, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18 and 21 December 2026. RSSB says the October 2026 exams were affected by the urban body and Panchayati Raj elections, so it has proposed a revised schedule. These dates are not final yet. What is the Eligibility for RSSB Teaching Associate 2026?
Educational Qualification
- Master’s Degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) in the concerned, relevant or allied subject from an Indian university, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university
- AND NET (UGC or CSIR) or a similar UGC-accredited test like SLET / SET, OR a Ph.D awarded as per the UGC Regulations 2009 or 2016
- 5% relaxation in marks for SC, ST, MBC, BC (Non-creamy Layer) and PwBD candidates
- Knowledge of Hindi in Devanagari script and Rajasthani culture is required
