UPDATE (21 October 2026): The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board has issued its exam notice for the Teaching Associate (Contract Based) Direct Recruitment Exam 2026 (Advt. No. 06/2026). It replaces the tentative dates of the 28 September press note. Paper I (General Studies of Rajasthan) is on 17 November 2026, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 noon. Paper II is subject-wise and runs from 7 December to 21 December 2026, in a morning shift (10:00 AM to 12:00 noon) or an afternoon shift (03:00 PM to 05:00 PM).
Find your subject in the table below and note the date and shift. The provisional e-admit card will be available on the Board’s website; the Board will notify the download date in due course and will not send admit cards separately. Per the notice, the exams may be held as a Computer Based Test, a Tablet Based Test with OMR sheets, or in Paper Pen OMR pattern.

Instructions in the RSSB Notice
- Make sure you meet the eligibility and educational qualification given in the Board’s advertisement.
- If the photo on your identity card is 3 years old or older, get it updated. The photo printed on your admit card is matched with your original ID card; if the two do not match, you will not be allowed into the exam centre.
- Each question has five options. A, B, C and D are the answer options and E is the “unattempted question” option. Darken only one circle among A to D with a blue ball point pen, or darken E if you do not want to answer.
- If none of the five circles is darkened for a question, 1/3 of that question’s marks is deducted. If more than 10% of the questions have no circle darkened, the candidate is declared ineligible for the exam.
- You get 10 extra minutes to check that one circle is filled for every question.
- The provisional e-admit card is downloaded from the Board’s website, the date will be notified later, and it is not sent separately.
- Do not trust rumours on social media. Treat only the notices on the Board’s website and in state-level newspapers as official.
- Follow the dress code given on the Board’s website and admit card, or you may face trouble at entry.
- Unfair means can mean a fine of ₹10 lakh to ₹10 crore and imprisonment from 10 years to life under the Rajasthan Public Examination (Measures for Prevention of Unfair Means in Recruitment) Act 2022, as amended in 2023, and a debarment from future exams.

UPDATE (28 September 2026): The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board has released a press note with the tentative (संभावित) exam dates for the Teaching Associate (Contract Based) Direct Recruitment Exam 2026 (Advt. No. 06/2026, 32 subjects). The exam was proposed for 17 November 2026 and 7, 9, 10, 11, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18 and 21 December 2026. RSSB says the October 2026 exams were affected by the urban body and Panchayati Raj elections, so it has proposed a revised schedule. These dates are not final yet. The note does not give shift timings or a subject-wise date list, so keep checking the RSSB website. The 21 October 2026 notice now gives the subject-wise dates and shift timings. It was one combined press note that also covered CET (Senior Secondary), CET (Graduate Level), Lab Attendant and Junior Engineer exams — only the Teaching Associate line applied here.

What is the Eligibility for RSSB Teaching Associate 2026?
Educational Qualification
- Master’s Degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) in the concerned, relevant or allied subject from an Indian university, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university
- AND NET (UGC or CSIR) or a similar UGC-accredited test like SLET / SET, OR a Ph.D awarded as per the UGC Regulations 2009 or 2016
- 5% relaxation in marks for SC, ST, MBC, BC (Non-creamy Layer) and PwBD candidates
- Knowledge of Hindi in Devanagari script and Rajasthani culture is required
