How to Apply Online for TNMVMD Apprentice Recruitment 2026

Applying is a two-stage process on the NATS portal: first you enrol as a student and get an enrolment number, then you apply against the department’s advertised vacancy. Keep your provisional certificate or consolidated mark sheet ready, and make sure the marks you type match the document you upload. The shortlist is based on that percentage, so a typing error can cost you the seat.

StepAction
1Open the NATS portal (link in Essential Links below) and click Student, then Student Register, if you have never enrolled
2Complete the form. A unique 12-digit Enrolment Number (ATN…) is generated; note it down
3Already enrolled on the new portal? Log in with your email ID and password. Old portal (mhrdnats) users must use Forgot Password to get an activation link and reset the password, then log in and complete the form
4Under Apply against advertised vacancies, search TAMIL NADU MOTOR VEHICLES MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT
5Click Apply; the status should show applied
6Upload your B.E./B.Tech/Diploma provisional certificate or consolidated mark sheet and enter the percentage of marks in the “% of marks / CGPAx10” column

Note the department’s name is spelt “Vehicle” in the heading but “Vehicles” in the portal search text, so search with the second spelling. For any doubt about enrolment verification, the notification lists the email tncop@boat-srp.com. Save the confirmation page once you see the applied status.
